12th scale haberdashery and sewing shop. All hand made except for the doll, the two stools and the sewing box / spools kits. Inspiration from the Internet and from real shops. Box in multiplex as is easier for nails and screws but it tends to warp.

I love this view of the Christmas tree in the log cabin! It's hard to believe that it's a 1/12th scale miniature.

The tall vase was inspired by Newcomb College Pottery, been years coming because I was too intimidated to try this kind of carving. Next time, it will be done with all matte glaze to be more authentic looking.
This large (4' x 3') village display was made to showcase Grace Anns collection of Original Snow Village boats from Department 56. There's also room for a few buildings on the mountain as well as accessories and a nice skating pond for the locals.

This shop was a gift for my FIL. The magnificent workbench at the back was made by Antiques in Miniature from the U.K.
I made the table saw, the shelf and all the goodies on it, the woodbox, the work horses, and the table-in-the-making.

This is a quarter scale 1950s kitchen that I made at a workshop given at the 2010 Ontario Miniatures Gathering.
The wee doll is a mere 1.25 inches high and was made by Sally Reader (England). The blender on the table and the bottle on the counter are by Signe Alvarstein (Norway).

i still need to put the feet on it-laser etched brass(toy soldier scale gate),and apple wood from a local orchard.
A delectable assortment of cheese and crackers, including two types of butter crackers, rye crisps, black sea salt swizzle sticks, liver mousse, black peppercorn mustard dip, aged Brie, and Black Corinth and Concord grapes is the perfect centerpiece for your next dollhouse party, and it would look lovely in a gourmet food display.
The wooden board measures approximately 2" by 1 1/2"; food handmade from polymer clay. Fabric courtesy of satsumabug.etsy.com.

There was a crooked man who walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked cat which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.
I've always liked that poem, so decided to make a 1/12th scale Crooked House. The wonderful Crooked Man doll was made by my friend Nicky at nickycc.com.
i have resisted the ball jointed dolls-till now-oops.
this is a dollhouse scale BJD by doll artist tima hass. saw her on ebay-
OOAK potting bench vignette with my own potted red geraniums and blue hydrangeas, shown next to my spathiphyllum plant. Note the tweezers and X-Acto knife to illustrate scale.
My husband, who is a mechanical engineer as well as a talented woodworker, designed and constructed the potting bench for me.
