Scale-feathered Malkoha

The Scale-feathered Malkoha (Phaenicophaeus cumingi) is a species of cuckoo in the Cuculidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines.
This looks to be a Fairbanks-Moris scale. I have not found the date yet so it could be any time from 27 to 58.
Scientists always like to include references in their photos, for scale. That's Andrew's hairy arm, not mine. We didn't understand why the grass in Ft. Lauderdale was so broad-leafed. Don't they plant kentucky blue/red fescue mixes everywhere?

1/48 Scale T-72 Main Battle Tank with Iraqi paint and markings. The model didn't have the exhaust port modeled properly. It basically just had an indentation where the exhaust is located.. I took a piece of sprue and used a dremel tool to shape it then used bronze and silver paint to make it appear metallic but rusted.. I thought it came out nicely.
Not a good image, just to show that this is the crawler stage. Found on a species of Lonicera. The only scale insect I can find that is associated with this shrub is Parthenolecanium corni. Going to check the branches for adults.
