This is the very beginning of fabrication for the scale replica of Dixmont. I plan to build the portion that is shown in the drawing on the table in the photo. At this small scale the entire Reed Hall would be over eight feet in length, while only standing less than a foot tall!
Project complete. This is a 1:96 scale model of the former Dixmont State Hospital. The left side is the building as it were during operational times while the right is long abandoned / partial demo'd.

Vecchio casolare abbandonato sul Monte Colla (CT)
...Quando sembri destarti
sei soltanto dolore,
l'hai negli occhi e nel sangue
ma tu non senti. Vivi
come vive una pietra,
come la terra dura.
E ti vestono sogni
movimenti singulti
che tu ignori. Il dolore
come l'acqua di un lago
trepida e ti circonda.
Sono cerchi sull'acqua.
Tu li lasci svanire.
Sei la terra e la morte...

Just a little scale humor here :) Picked this scale up about 4 or 5 years ago at an indoor flea market. Heaven only knows how old it was when I bought it. It has been well used and amazed me how well it works. For what I paid for it I lucked out!
Just your basic bath scale
We got a new one and I just dont want to throw this out
Its basic
very basic but works fine
its not digital - just your plain regular scale
after awhile if I notice that its not starting at zero, its very simple to just slide the needle to reset to zero
we pick it up and move it from room to room a lot and I think all the movement makes that happen
if youre just leaving it to sit in one place it prob wont happen often
