Doors and Cowls are from aluminum panels/plates 0.3 mm thick. (that are used in newspaper presses who sometimes need to get rid of their old expired plates).
1/24 Scale Honda S2000. Fit was excellent. My paint job was the best yet. The bonnet and boot are really shiny (sadly with a few streaks). The doors are pretty good too.
This is a Display/Trade Show model of Stryker ICV in 1:16 scale.
The model is developed digitally, the parts are produces by several rapid prototyping techniques, such as SLA, SLA and FDM with some manual fabrication and resin casting.
Some details of the model are slightly modified to accommodate various combat applications (not shown). The model features M151 Remote Weapons Station (RWS).
After receiving the rapid prototyped parts the model was assembled and finished in just one week.
The model is mounted on a mahogany finished base with clear protective cover and accompanied by custom transit case.
Right after the completion the model made its first appearance at 2012 AUSA show in Washington DC and, along with other model made for the same client, received recognition and very positive feedbacks for accuracy and high level of detailing.

Just arriving today from N Scale Enthusiast is this Intermountain Norfolk Southern "Honoring Our Veterans" Centerflow hopper and a flatcar with two turbine generators that I do not know who the manufacturer is. I wanted the Veterans car due to the high presence of the Armed Services in the Norfolk VA area. I have family that has served and currently serving. I appreciate all of those who have served. I continue to support the Navy as a Civil Service worker. I do not know if NS has a prototype that NSE followed or if this is a design NSE came up with. The flatcar is in a Micro Trains box. I am thinking the flatcar is a N Scale Kits model as I have not seen Micro Trains hint at making a model of this flatcar. I saw a video on Youtube of a train carrying these generators. The car shifted in the box so I need to reglue two things and add some more cushioning.
At first I thought the white jobbies were some sort of fungal growth. Now I'm thinking scale insect. As usual I forgot to check what kind of plant this was.
