13" span rubber powered Peanut scale models for indoor flying. Spitfire, Airacobra, Hellcat and Mustang. The Airacobra is 8" wing span and is Pistachio scale.
All are carved from blue foam and hollowed out. Average weight is about 12 grammes.

@junchen.meng has built my Ford F100 and added custom rims with chrome all over!! The fuselage is just about ready. I want to add the control and structural cables first, then the rest of the bits and pieces before attaching the wings.
For the control cables, I found some very fine braided wire at the local bead shop (it's my ex's bead store, which explains all the pictures of jewerly in my photsteam, which are done for her website) . For the structural cables, I'll be using EZ Line.
Still need a bit more work on my airbrushing technique. Still getting too rough a surface, so I'll crank down the pressure and get even closer to the subject. I'm practicing on the cheaper kits before moving on to the Wingnut Wings kit I have sitting in my to-do pile.
