Here is the mock up of the town of Jobyna (named after the silent movie actress Jobyna Ralston). The factory is Faraday Electric Motor Company. Maybe a bit too tall but I'm stuck with it.

A round, scale-covered weevil (family Curculionidae) found in a beachside parking lot. I at first assumed its rigid posture was thanatosis, as many weevils feign death when disturbed. Its position remained completely unchanged for hours, so it must have been genuinely dead before I had found it.
To give some scale - the foreground is about 2 metres high and the distance from brown edge at the base to the buried tip at the sea's edge is 26 of my manly paces, say 20 metres.

the footholes in the rock are all that remains from the original foundations of the outer wall.
From the edge it's a sheer drop, about thirty metres. Nowadays you navigate with great care up an iron stair case. Try to picture the kings men building this section of the wall to his spectacular palace over 1500 years ago.
The whole project was completed within seven years and professionals estimate the same workforce would take fourteen years to build the palace to the same design - No wonder the Lankans regard Sigiriya as the 8th wonder of the world.
