this is the correct position for the screw mount both had broken away in transit and the screws just spin, not undoing, if you have this problem, you will need to apply light upward pressure and carefully undo screw to release model from the base, note dust on chassis drive shafts etc have wiped edges and you can see the dust line clearly this also suggests that these parts have been sitting around for some time.
Walthers Horizon coach with diaphragms transplanted from a Walthers heavyweight coach. Walthers Amfleet cafe is plated with Bare Metal Foil and weathered, but otherwise stock.
Cane Hill laundry scales. Cane Hill Hospital opened in 1882 as the Third Surrey County Lunatic Asylum. The asylum was designed by Charles Henry Howell and built on a hill overlooking Coulsdon. Cane Hill closed in 1991 and most of the asylum was demolished during 2009.
By now I'm starting to get an appreciation of the enormity of the site, and the enormity of what the Nabateans achieved. The man in the picture said they were crazy :)
