Crooked Rib are a group of fourteen young Muslim women who came together to collaborate on an arts project in late 2007. In 2008, the City of Melbourne invited UK based, ‘spiritual’ street artist Mohammed Ali (AKA Aerosol Arabic) to Melbourne to collaborate with Crooked Rib on a street art project. Crooked RIb also exhibited their work at Gallery 15@15W. The exhibition and street art mural were included in the Melbourne International Arts Festival program.
