A small group of men set up scaffolding at the outside facade of the temple of Dendera.

They were still at it today, so I got closer and used the better camera..
Annoyingly, this time one fellow was at ground level (actually on top of the boilerhouse) and the other was on the scaffolding at the top of the chimney. A rope slug between them was carrying things up and down. And all day, they yelled instructions to each other. All day. With close on 200 office windows pointing at them, including mine. For heavens sakes, don't they have walkie-talkies any more? Grrr.
this market usually closes up pretty early, but the mood around the cathedral was pretty strange because there was nobody around and it was incredibly quiet.
Torn asunder by the wind. This section still stood, the bare building off to the left is missing the scaffolding now lying across the street.
Handheld HDR, 3 exposures and so the clouds are still blown out. Ah well. Not the most interesting HDR shot, but not bad.
Neuschwanstein Castle, aka the "Disney Castle", in Bavaria. This is the castle Walt Disney patterned the Magic Kingdom off of at the Disney parks. Of course, when we went they had to be doing renovations on the exterior of the castle so we got a great view of the scaffolding!
The sign says:
'In February we became aware of damage to the top section of the spire. Large stone blocks near the top of the tower have rotated and moved out of alignment'
The scaffolding is in place so that they can investigate what's caused this movement and then they can decide how to fix it.
In the meantime services will take place on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 9.30am at Worksop Priory Church, with services at Carburton Church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
The foot print is 10'x20', the figure is six foot, scaffolding is 3'x 6 1/2'x 6 1/2' between levels. Paintings, products, ceramics, art, design will be displayed on the floor and scaffolds. Might have three sides free with neighbouring booth on one side?
