The scaffolding is working really well for us on the dome. We have

managed to reach the hard to get to areas. It is a lot more

comfortable to be sitting on the scaffolding than to be standing on

the rebar all day.

I was impressed with the all-bamboo scaffolding in Hong Kong, so have been on the lookout for alternate types of scaffolding since.

Caught my eye while Amy and I were strolling along. :)

A house with scaffolding poles, the builder has a builders bum and a tattoo!

Even scaffolding takes the weekend off!

Another view of the scaffolding underneath the Bridge.

May 1, 2022 - I ran across these contractors erecting scaffolding on my walk back to my hotel. Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Scaffolding up, before restoration work on sill, stucco and soffits.

Inside the Aya Sofia in Istanbul this scaffolding is blocking the view from one half of the church/mosque for many years now. But it has it's own beauty as well..

I was constantly amazed at the use of bamboo to make scaffolding all over Hong Kong. You can see that this is not just on small buildings, but it's put up (by hand!) all over the skyscrapers too.

Wood seems to be used quite a lot for scaffolding on renovations in Reykjavik

The west side of the Fox Plaza has scaffolding covered in white plastic. This is part of the retrofit to make the building safer during an earthquake. Internal upgrades are being done in some apartments from the 14th floor to the 21st. Work is being done in the 2 level underground garage and in the office spaces between the 1st and 12th floors.
