Eindhoven (NL)
Something we see a lot in Eindhoven these days... and something we will keep seeing for years to come.
I took this shot under the scaffolding around the construction site of the Trump Tower ( yeah the Donald) in order to catch the reflections on the side....
Bamboo scaffolding photographed on the street at night in Hong Kong with the street lights creating a semi-abstract composition of lines and shadows.

Hongkong seen from The Peak (the mountain you see behind the city in the next photo). I was lucky: the sky was surprizingly clear, even the other side, across the harbour was visible! The noises from the city below were still quite loud. Especially the sounds from the buildings in progress drifted far above the city. You can recognize those buildings easily in this photo; they are cladded with a green fabric. The scaffolding under this fabric is made out of bamboo. When I saw it I simply didn´t believe my eyes!! Skyscratchers-scaffolding made out of ..... bamboo!!
(Notice also the difference in height between the very tall IFC building and all the rest!)

My travels around the UK by car for three weeks with my son. June/July 2019 England.
On a walk around Salisbury Cathedral. Making our way from Winchester to Sidmouth where we are staying the night.
Salisbury Cathedral, formally known as the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is an Anglican cathedral in Salisbury, England. The cathedral is regarded as one of the leading examples of Early English architecture: its main body was completed in 38 years, from 1220 to 1258.

Things change, just like places. This was a forest at Lillgården in Tungelsta just two years ago. Now it is turning into a place where a few hundred people will live and work, in fact the retirement home in the area has already opened, and I think the preschool is next.
