This wasn't the picture I was planning to take this week, but I'm posting it because I loved it. Saturday, I was going to take some quick pictures of Rose just in case I didn't have time today. I got Rose up on the couch with the toys and Flattery walked up and proceeded to lay right down next to her. Saturday was Flattery's birthday and when you turn eleven, you can do what you want. She has not been doing well lately and I do not think we will have her for much longer and, to be honest, this is how I want to remember her. She taught Rose what she knows and they have been close since Rose arrived here. I feel like this picture shows how their relationship has changed, with Rose looking out for Flattery now instead of the other way around.
