Here, in the last minute, I jump in front of the sign, shielding it from any damage. I wave my crutches in desperation, willing the guys to lower their weapons. I nearly fell over while posing for this shot.
Some days just go so horrible and are soo emotional that yes, quite literally, my lighter is my Savior. It lights the cigarettes that keep my not so level head sane.
