The Save; was my first vessel from my real African years. It was a coaster, trading along the Mocambiquan coast. My first years onboard was under Norwegian ownership, under the name Stenberg. The Mozambiquan company Navique, bought the vessel and rechristened her to Save, after a river in the country. All together I was captain onboard for about 5 years. Some bad and some good years. The first 2 years was real difficult, and you really have to use your wits to get the ship and system working. Anyway; that was years I always remember as exciting, without a boring moment.
