Buddy is Daisy's and Lily's best mate, they all adore each other and love their weekly walks. I offered to do some photography of Buddy and he was the perfect model. Buddy has just had his 1st Birthday.

This very friendly Dachshund had been waiting patiently while its owner listened to a brass band playing Christmas carols but just wanted some attention from any passers by !
I met this seven month, long haired dachshund and his owner battling against the wind at Mudeford yesterday. We stopped to chat and when I asked the dog's name he told me it was Sparticus, to which I had to reply " No, I'm Sparticus" (just couldn't help myself).
It was so windy it was difficult to hold the camera still, coupled with the fact that the dog was constantly moving, hence there's not a lot in focus - lol. However, I loved the dog and delighted in his wonderful name
Mini walkers run the risk of being stepped on. Haha. Manual focused on Leica SL with Nikon telephoto lens

Now referring to the hottest part of our summer, here in the Northern Hemisphere, the phrase actually refers originally to Sirius (the "Dog Star") rising into the night sky towards the end of summer. Often the herald of hotter days, thunderstorms and discomfort in the heat.
The Dog Days of Summer are certainly sultry this year. Europe is baking and burning.

I adore dachshund dogs / sausage dogs / bassotti / perros salchicha! They are my favourite dogs. In front of my new house there's a pet shop where I pass by each day and I stare in front of them puppys for hours. This is my new banner for the blog, it is an extract from an illustration I made for Gemma Correll :)
Walking our dog in a park the other day and came across a lady collecting fallen conkers. I noticed the bag and thought that’s what she must be carrying them in. Then pops up sleepy, gets out and walks to its owner.
Moriah giving Link a super-sized hug. She loved the dogs, but I think Moriah would have hugged a rat to get another photo taken! She loves to be photographed and then see the digital image immediately.
