This year seemed to be all about the audience... They are as much a part of a good (or bad) show as the performers, and often times some of the rawest energy you will ever experience.
I only wanted to photograph that strange treehouse - but then I saw that hairy monster.
More silly observations on my blog:
This painting I did a while back. I tried to capture what a real one might look like and not the kind like in the film "Harry and the Hendersons". I spent 40+ hours rendering this. My favorite of all my Bigfoot related paintings.
Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is purportedly an ape-like creature that inhabits sand dunes mainly in the Coogee area South of Perth. Bigfoot is usually described as a large, hairy, bipedal humanoid. The term "sasquatch" is an anglicized derivative of the word "Sésquac" which means "wild man" in a Salish Native American language.
I'm auctioning this print to help the people of Japan.
I would like you to start the bidding at AUS$50
12x8 inch print, Professional Glossy paper.
Please leave a comment with your offer, please only comment if you wish to bid, thanks.
WANT TO BID - BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A FLICKR ACCOUNT?
Please just email me with a bid and I will place the bid in the comments on your behalf: dhutson@tim4biz.com
The bidding will end on 25 March, 2011 at 12.00pm + Tokyo Time. At this time, the person who wrote/commented or emailed the highest amount will have to give this amount to a legitimate charity involved in the effort for aid for the people of Japan. On proof of donation (please take a screen grab of your donation confirmation page!), I will arrange for the print to made and shipped to you.
I will pay for the print to be produced and pay for shipping, so all of your donation goes straight to the cause

This is a still from a video posted at Vimeo.
This afternoon Sophia was out in the woods behind my parents-in law's house on the Olympic Peninsula where we'll be house sitting for the next few weeks. She brought back this video of what appears to be a young sasquatch, but was only able to record until the memory card was full. Hopefully we'll see it again in the coming days and get some better footage.
