NVERTED MAKEUP - Inspired by the amazing @nikkietutorials

This is one of the most fun, confusing and, forgive me for saying, mind-fucking makeup I've ever done! I spent the whole time talking to myself like an idiot so I wouldn't mess it up ... it was like my brain couldn't comprehend that the highlights had to be dark and the shadows had to be light! A really interesting experience!!!

With this makeup I wanted to challenge myself and try something new, something that required technique that I wasn't sure I had lol. Painting gems is hard, (at least for me) because you have to draw super straight lines and when your hands are shaking it's not the easiest thing in the world ^^... you also have to draw decend symetrical lines, which is not my strong suit !! And finally, since you're working with one main color (blue in my case), you need to do a lot of highlighting and shading so the rock will look three-dimensional and (kinda) transparent ! 😵 This little bastard took me 3 hours 😂

But I'm happy with the result and I'm glad I got that diamond challenge out of my system ! 😅

There's something about whales. Is it their mighty presence? Their peaceful slowness? Their wistful singing? What a beautiful species. I was lucky enough to see a whale and her baby when I lived in Mexico... They were so close to our boat I could have touched them... Oh I wanted to!!! But I didn't want to bother their quiet journey. I don't remember feeling so moved in the presence of an animal. It makes you feel humbled and blessed. And when they leave with a their tail saying "goodbye", flapping the surface of the sea, you really feel special!! 😅😍

This is the first of my Zodiac Signs series and it also happens to be my Zodiac sign ! I’m a Pisces with Leo rising and Moon in Libra, Venus and Mars in Aries =D. Actually my birthchart has 58% fire, so don’t mess with me ! lol jk

Yeah yeah I know, everybody's done the Grinch already and it's not even Christmas anymore... but I've been so behind with my winter/christmas makeups I think I'll still be editing them in March!!!

That being said, here's my take on the Grinch ! I love it, especially the colors... I used my brand new amazing Mehron palette and I am pumped !!!! I can't wait to do another makeup with these vibrant full coverage paints

When a college girl gets her heart broken and develops a new messed up hobby : eating her boyfriends heart ;)

Here's the progress pic for my 'Kawaii So Scary" competition makeup ! This is one of the most fun makeups I've done so far! I loved painting those big watery eyes and I'm definitely going to do more of those cute creepy manga transformations !
