I think the highlight of my 3 month trip would be the half day I spent on the Tonle Sap Lake, near Chong Khneas, Cambodia. The local floating village life was such a spectacle to see and experience.
There are more floating villages around the Tonle Sap and the next time I visit Cambodia, I will make the effort to visit them all!
Tonlé Sap - literally large river (tonle); fresh, not salty (sap) - is the largest fresh water in South East Asia. Its size varies by season from 3.000 square kilometres in the dry season to 10,000 in the wet. The Lake is also an important commercial resource, providing more than half of the fish consumed in Cambodia. The human occupations at the edges of the lake is similarly distinctive - floating villages, towering stilted houses and huge fish traps. Where we visited there were very distinct areas of Cambodians and another of Vietnamese - each with their own schools and places of worship - with no interaction.
Tonle Sap Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Also called Boeung Tonle Sap, it has one of the world’s most vibrant ecosystems. There are different species of wildlife in and around the lake, which helped to sustain and grow the ancient Khmer civilisation. It's also famous for its fascinating local communities and their floating villages.
Located in Siem Reap, the massive lake is 250 km in length and 100 km across at its widest point, making it seem like an inland ocean because it is impossible to see the opposite shore from ground level. Surprisingly, it's fairly shallow, with a maximum depth of only 10 metres.

*Roma, AMICI CON LA CODA. FILIPPO, cucciolo di 4 mesi, futura taglia medio
piccola, attualmente pesa 7 kg e raggiungerà un peso da adulto intorno ai
12/15 kg, pelo semilungo.*
Filippo è stato trovato in un paesino dell'Abruzzo da alcuni ragazzi in
vacanza, purtroppo la sua mamma era stata investita e Filippo ed i suoi
fratellini essendo rimasti soli sono stati raccolti da questi ragazzi e
portati al sicuro. Tutti i fratellini di Filippo hanno trovato casa li nel
paese dove sono stati trovati mentre Filippo rimasto solo soletto è stato
portato a Roma.
Filippo è stato accolto da una nostra bravissima volontaria e convive
serenamente con tanti cagnolini e con i gatti.
La volontaria dice cose splendide di lui, che è dolcissimo, equilibrato,
educato in casa, giocoso e allegro, un cucciolo bravissimo e con un
carattere meraviglioso, ha imparato da subito ad andare a guinzaglio è un
cucciolo intelligentissimo, apprende tutto alla velocità della luce.
Noi per Filippo vogliamo il meglio, vogliamo una famiglia, di quelle vere,
che consideri Filippo un membro del nucleo familiare, che lo ami e lo curi
per il resto della sua vita.
Filippo suscita tanta tenerezza, impossibile non amarlo a prima vista, è un
tesoro vero questo piccoletto e adattissimo a vivere con un piccolo umano
purchè rispettoso degli animali.
Filippo è in perfetta salute, è stato visitato dal veterinario ed è
sanissimo, verrà affidato sverminato, spulciato, vaccinato e microchippato,
pertanto con regolare iscrizione all'anagrafe canina e sarà anche in
possesso del suo libretto sanitario. Per lui si richiede obbligo di
sterilizzazione, al compimento del 7° mese di età. STERILIZZARE non è una
crudeltà, bensì l'atto d'amore più grande che, si possa fare al proprio
peloso. Oltre a combattere il randagismo, si prevengono in toto tumori. Un
cane sterilizzato vive più sereno ed è senza dubbio più facilmente
gestibile, non tenterà la fuga per accoppiarsi, non entrerà in competizione
con i suoi simili dello stesso sesso.
A questo amorevole cagnolino non manca proprio nulla per trovare una
famiglia disposta ad amarlo per la vita.
Si trova a Roma, ma è adottabile in tutto il centro e nord Italia, saremo
direttamente noi a condurlo da te e lo faremo con tempistiche decisamente
brevi, viaggierà su mezzo omologato Asl in tutta sicurezza e comodità.

Analysts forecast nearshore outsourcing to grow between 15 and 17 percent in the region this year.
