There was some great light this weekend with monsoonal clouds in Northern California. I was on my way up north, and a huge fog bank came rolling in off the coast. I turned around and headed back to town. The fog was right over head the entire time, but it was open sky just to the northeast. This shot captures a mix of fog and high clouds with the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Looff Carousel built in 1909. I have been riding this since I was a little girl (a long time ago). Everyone runs for the outside horses so they can grab metal rings from a dispensing arm. The rings have to be quickly aimed to throw into a clown's mouth on the wall as you ride by.
