Yes! This is the order I made in October that the USPS said (via the online tracking) that they tried to deliver, but I never received any type of notice and they sent it back to the company. Then I moved and had a hard time getting online to contact the company, not realizing the lady I was responding with ended up moving as well. 22.A fruit stand in Cromwell. There were several large roadside stores selling fresh fruit and local produce. The first one we went to was filled with busloads of Japanese tourists. People were swarming around the sample table like a feeding frenzy. It was quite hectic! We did buy some dried kiwis, though- delish!

These are samples which I created to find a technique to make a dress using plastic carrier bags as the material. I experimented largely with cut away applique, as well as embroidery. I found I preferred the simpler squares, although I thought the embroidery added new qualities to the squares.
A sample board I produced while exploring different techniques to produce different textures. The first is a tiered sample made of three different lamb nappas, cut with pinking shears with subtly contrasting leathers in each tier. The second sample is also a tiered texture sample but fringed to meet current trends. The third is a 3D sample, with straws sewn between two layers of leather to create individual 3D rows. The fourth sample shows a technique to contrast the underside of a leather, and while being a simple technique I feel its really appealing and it is my favourite sample from the board. The fifth sample shows decorative stitching, with sections cut out, contrasting the two colours starkly. This technique could be used to reproduce any shape, or even words and slogans. The sixth sample is an experiment with a much wider version of the pin tuck to see how effective this would be in costings and how much leather this technique consumes.
