These are the sample ballots used in Malabon for the 2010 elections.
I brought home some of the extras for scratch paper. I should have brought home more. :(
May 9 and 10 have been the most tiring but fun days of my life. One hour of sleep, spending the whole day with my cousins playing the randomest of games, laughing at the corniest of jokes, dying because we have nothing to do, and the never ending supply of food.
Counting coins and wrapping them in stacks of P100 (P23,060 worth -- two piggy banks full of P5 and P10 coins!), Charades (acting out 100 movies), Monopoly (with credit cards!), Taboo (haha, we memorized all the cards now), Killer, Cranium, Slap Jack (we tried playing silent Slap Jack, it was the most intense game ever), Skyping with Ninang (and asking her to send us some cupcakes from London) Never ending food (36 dozen ensaimadas - 432 pieces!, 2 Balikbayan boxes filled with McDonald's, a million orders of French fries, 20 halo - halos, 4 bags of chips, 3 tubs of ice cream, leche flan, mango torte, almost ordering pizza at one in the morning [but the pizza place was closed] and chocolates -- and that's excluding breakfast, lunch and dinner!)
... But that's why I love my family. ♥

They give me free samples each time I purchase something at GUESS Store, I already giveaway so many to my friends and family but here it is I still have 17 left and more coming. I have like 15 for men too, I gave it to my husband and uncles.

As I stated before it's always good to do a sample before starting a project. The top color is Shark Skin, it's a blue grey color and the bottom is the oxblood red. I screened the stencil with a pearl/silver ink.

Tried to think of something "me" which was also small & also useful. I think these tick all the boxes...
If the scrub pad is white or silver after rubbing the tarpon's outer jaw, you've taken a good sample.

River Dargle Flood Defence Scheme.
These images were taken during the fourth+week of September 2014.
The guys were now working to reinforce the riverside of the sheetpiling, buttressing with large boulders, and an overlay of smaller gravel. Most of the sheet piles were driven into place.
Work now involved re-inforcing the base of the sheet wall. On this side of the river, that work required the placement of steel-rod reinforced concrete pouring. They also finally got around to 'topping' the steel piles -- using hand-held oxy-acetylene torch. I was kinda hoping they'd have a plasma cutter.
However the work was done quickly, neatly and with little inconvenience to local residents.
All hands on deck in the rush to complete the work along the length of the riverbank fronting the buildings.
The days were shortening, and the good weather was likely to eventually turn.

I went shopping for colors today, again. To help me, I've made a sample page of all the acrylic colors I've got, so I could compare them with colors I wanted to buy, and avoid doubles.
I wasn't really expecting to find: a) that I have so many already; b) that I have a few doubles is there. 2 Ultramarine,2 Carmine (why in the hell?), 2 Hookers green, 3 bright yellows and enough Ochre and vermilion to paint poppy fields for the rest of my life.
and apperently, I don't have red of any kind. I'm a cmyk artist these days.
UPDATE: we have Cadmium red medium.

I think it’s so nice that they are giving away samples, I am definitely going to write a review once I try it out. I assume that since it is acrylic based, it should work fine on a monster high’s vinyl head. I love the color I got, I am planning on spraying my CAM Dragon and covering up that bright pink. Hopefully it will be enough to cover all of her, if not I am always willing to buy more. I have had a hard time finding where they are sold though, aside from Michaels.
If anyone else has had experience with using this paint on plastic, please tell me!

Traces
One specific feature of Herzog & de Meuron's oeuvre is that every finished project is the result of an involved design process that leaves physical traces behind, in the form of a great variety of formal experiments, sketches, models and material samples. It is here, even more than in the finished buildings, that the architects' concerns can be made manifest in an exhibition. These traces are therefore the focus here. The exhibition offers a view into the architects' workshop and archive, from the earliest attempts twentyfive years ago to the more recent large projects that are currently in progress.
We had the opportunity to sample several fine chinese teas at the New Century Tea Gallery on Maynard in Seattle. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it both for tea enthusiasts, and for their friends or family who would like to understand what all the fuss is about.
