Curiosity image of one of its sample ports. (This may look like a duplicate of an image I loaded a while ago but it's not...)
The strip of paper is a scale model of the banner itself. The yellow is a sample of the same dyed habotai silk, to allow me to experiment.
These shots were taken with camera mounted on a Monopod. I am not the best with fous and I know Composition is not the best but just want to show just how sharp this lens is. It could be even sharper with better eyesite controlling the foucus ring. Mye eys are just not good enough and the reason for this sale. Lens is in Great Condition with just a couple of dust spots inside and as one can see they do not interfere with image quality.

Sample piece (approx. size of replicated portion of original)
-holly branch from 5th panel of the Hunt of the Unicorn tapestries (Cloisters-Metropolitan Museum of Art)
-unfinished
-12 epi, linen warp
-wool weft (commercially dyed)
Linen weft is much harder on the hands at high tension, but the weft packs down much easier.
