Make Your Own Dog Treats Workshop at Bonneyville Mill Park on Sun. Feb. 19, 2017. Park Manager Krystin Hildebrandt and Park Naturalist Krista Daniels presented the workshop at the Baldwin One-Room Schoolhouse at Bonneyville Mill Park. There were nearly a dozen participants who had signed up for the workshop and came ready to learn to make the dog treats. A workstation with a bowl, mat, rolling pin and other tools were set up for each participant. Hildebrandt had brought from her own kitchen the ingredients that she advised were healthy items for everyone to have for themselves as well as their dogs. She included Bonneyville Buckwheat and Corn Meal sold at the Bonneyville Mill from April thru October, but other flour can be substituted. Each participant made the squirrel biscuits (so named because Hildebrant used a squirrel shaped cookie cutter when she made them). They took turns baking in the school’s oven, and were able to take them home for their own dogs. Hildebrandt also gave each of the participants a plastic bag of the other 3 dog treats recipes that she had made.

Here's a sample image; notice details are finely captured, and yet edges somehow "glow"...images taken in direct sunlight have this "dreamy" feel to it
