This is a sample from a previous project where I used an image printed on to fabric using computer transfer paper and I added an edge of machine embroidery on to soluble plastic. I then edged it with coiled 8mm copper wire
Spoonflower Sample - Overview
This is what came out of the spoonflower printing process. (See the input further up my stream. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/katharos/2584514843/]
The reality is slightly more saturated and darker than this looks on my monitor, but it isn't horribly off.
The size is a fat quarter. The small pattern squares are 3" on a side.
our sample shirt arrived yesterday, and the print looks nice! very true colors, good detail... I'm happy! I'm giving it the wash-test right now.
your shirts should be in your mailboxes soon, too!
I can clearly see why Red Bull completely cover their new drink with silver packaging. I'm not sure it would sell too well if you could see the contents prior to purchasing.
This would look more at home in a Dr's surgery, pending tests!
Back to work; I want to check out this new typeface which claims to include the accents and special characters for all European languages, as well as Inuktitut and other North American alphabets.
A quick sample we created for a lime plaster project we are working on. The white area surrounding the sample is the rough basecoat which the finish plaster is applied over. This finish is applied seamlessly to cover large areas and is very good in water prone areas such as kitchens and bathrooms!
