Matt Skirving was almost out at third, but ended up being called safe. Eh, it's hard to tell, but this is the sequence. The top photo is Skirving trying to dodge to the best line of attack; he's starting his slide in the second one, then he's sliding (knees first?) and Abraham is trying to tag him; then he's checking back and Abraham is trying to convince the ump that he's got him.

For couple a safe stay is a matter of constraint, so was it for us. There are few resorts and one among them is the Shafa resorts. This resort is present between pear tree farm with beautiful wooden cottages, the view from balcony is marvelous. We sat for hours watching how beautifully the sky colour and white moving clouds are giving a spectacular color to the valley.

Its really amazing to spend few days in those wooden cottages with your better half with no one to disturb and the view of sun rays kissing the horizon is an ever lasting memory ( there is no proper network in the resort )

Yesterday, (October 16) marked the beginning of Safer Business Action Week and Greater Manchester Police is ensuring that it demonstrates its commitment to businesses across every single district with a range of operations, activities, and proactive work.

Teams across GMP will be out every single day to reaffirm their commitment to tackling everything retail-related, including searching for shoplifters, undertaking proactive patrols of criminal hotspots, talking to shop owners to discuss security, and engaging with local communities to discuss how everyone can play their part.

Across the week GMP will work closely with partners in the community to fully utilise every resource available to ensure that businesses are well looked after in regards to services and premises – for both the workers and customers.

While this week marks a specific event designed to raise awareness and clamp down on business related criminality, officers work every day to tackle issues that stores and customers experience.

Superintendent Cara Charlesworth, the retail crime lead for Greater Manchester Police, said: “Safer Business Action Week provides us with a brilliant opportunity to engage with retailers and businesses and show our commitment to keeping stores safe.

“While we work all-year round to look after our business communities, the week allows us to reaffirm our dedication to ensuring that we are clamping down on all manner of crimes that affect stores; shoplifting, violence against workers, illegal trading, and more.”

“Across every district, numerous operations and activities will be taking place, from targeted arrests to work with partners in ensuring stores are safe and protected. If you see an officer out-and-about, do feel free to go and talk to them about their work around the week of action. Whether you want advice or have a question, they will be more than happy to assist with your query.”

Xintao Yan, a civil engineering PhD student, inside one of the autonomous vehicles as he and fellow students prepare for a test run at Mcity on North Campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Shen and the PhD students are members of Henry Liu’s research team. They used artificial intelligence to train virtual vehicles to challenge autonomous vehicles using adversarial behaviors. There are rare events that happen on the road that current autonomous vehicles cannot handle because it takes billions of miles to collect the needed data. By creating virtual vehicles that the autonomous vehicle responds to as if they were real, the time and mileage needed for testing is dramatically reduced.

Drop safes, also known as depository safes, accept deposits from anyone, but only persons with authorized access can retrieve the deposits. They are ideal for businesses that handle large amounts of cash, jewelry, or other valuables on a daily basis. They also provide a convenient way of handling non-returnable deposits such as payments enclosed in envelopes. Drop safes are best for temporary storage - they are not as secure as burglary-proof safes because of the opening to the outside. For example, you might use one to store cash during the day, and then move the contents to a more secure safe or deposit it to the bank at night. Also, again because of the opening to the outside, drop safes are not fireproof.
