It's eating away at lots & lots of our stuff, 24/7
nevertheless, good old rust does provide some compensations
Not the best photo but I haven't posted anything in a month and wanted to let everyone know I was still alive.
Rust is a small town on the shore of the Neusiedler See in Burgenland, Austria. It is extremely picturesque and famous for its wine and storks:) There is really a great number of these lovely birds, but I wasn't able to capture one without a telephoto lens.
Close up shot of the inside of our clothes washer showing two of several points where the enamel is damaged and the drum is rusting. This apparently is the source of rust colored stains on towels accidentally left in the washer for a day. The real question is what, if anything, can be done to repair the enamel short of replaceing a washer that is otherwise quite functional?

We returned to the scene. A closer examination leaves us convinced that it is (was) a printing press. The obvious weight of the object is the reason it is still sitting here, rusting away in a burned out building.
