These shades were too cool to resist... added minor contrast to the shot, but otherwise actual colors... I suspect it used to be blue, but the rust changed that... :-)
This is part of what it looks like a steam boiler. It must have been use as portable mechanical power used in logging back in the day.

A scene at Balbriggan harbour on Ireland's east coast on the afternoon of Monday 25th September 2023.
Never one to miss an opportunity for a musical reference, for the title I have adapted the name of the acclaimed 1979 album by Neil Young and Crazy Horse, called Rust Never Sleeps.
This big metal tower was blown over in the high winds, taking a tree with it, it was making alarming groaning noises when I was there last week but I never thought it would fall. I wish I'd seen it ! And I wish it had fallen right over the cliff to the left, that would have been a sight to see. This angle reminds me of a bit in Watership Down with the pylon waving about.
