This silo caught my attention as it looks like the booster tanks of the Space Shuttle. No extra saturation added, just added some tonal contrast from colour effex pro.

retro uni has rusted clips, 2 unis are missing a clip, seat is missing 2 and Nissan has all missing but worth keeping for a clock or something as it's rare

Leaf looks like it could have been made from metal and is rusting along the edges.

A scene at Balbriggan harbour on Ireland's east coast on the afternoon of Monday 25th September 2023.

Never one to miss an opportunity for a musical reference, for the title I have adapted the name of the acclaimed 1979 album by Neil Young and Crazy Horse, called Rust Never Sleeps.

This former War Department Scammell tractor had once been used for recovery work by the Crossville Bus Company. By the time I took this picture in July 1996, the vehicle was gently rusting away in this boat yard on the seafront at Barmouth in North Wales.

Stumbled across this gem near Ituna, Saskatchewan

This big metal tower was blown over in the high winds, taking a tree with it, it was making alarming groaning noises when I was there last week but I never thought it would fall. I wish I'd seen it ! And I wish it had fallen right over the cliff to the left, that would have been a sight to see. This angle reminds me of a bit in Watership Down with the pylon waving about.

The metallic landscape in Rankin, Pa. -- Carrie Furnaces.

The two blast furnaces still standing here were built in 1907 and shut down in 1978. They were part of a complex of seven that ran around the clock 365 days a year, producing iron for the area steel mills.

It’s now a National Historic Landmark.
