This is the Milky Way taken at an abandoned WWII air base in Charlestown, RI. Part of the base is now a state park; this section of the base still has remnants of the original runways.

The two runways at HSV airport in Huntsville. Alabama come into view in the top third of the photo. The Tennessee River is at the bottom and the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge is in between. Obviously the plane had to make a sharp left turn to line up on the runway to the right side.
