The station was resplendent with Bougainvillea flowers. Although on the face of it there are several platforms at Hua Hin station in reality the only one I have ever seen used is the nearest one

CN 3235 is running long hood forward toward Fort Erie, Ontario as CN G875. It will lift new build grain hoppers that have been temporarily stored in the yard.
As we drove down from the Blue Ridge National Parkway we followed a stream down a valley. Stopping for a walk along the stream I loved the action of the water over fallen logs in the stream.
Don't you just love being by a stream and listening to the running water!

A Great Shearwater takes to the air from the water at St Vincent's beach, NL.
This species breeds on the islands of Tristan de Cunha in the southern Atlantic Ocean. They are migratory, and spend May to early November as a nonbreeding visitor to the north Atlantic and may occur along the Atlantic Coast of North America from Florida to Canada. They may also wander into the Gulf of Mexico. They are pelagic, seldom seen from land, and only come ashore to breed.
The Great Shearwater or Hagdon defends itself by ejecting foul-smelling oil from its nostrils. These birds need a running start to become airborne and run along the water surface before taking flight.

Fino a sentire il cuore in gola e a non riuscire più a tenere gli occhi aperti a causa del sudore che li sta inondando, o delle lacrime che ci raccontiamo essere figlie dei nostri sforzi.
Fino a rendere questa corsa il vero scopo della nostra stessa esistenza.
E nemmeno ci accorgiamo che chi ci sta vicino sta facendo lo stesso.
E non ci rendiamo conto che prima o poi uno di noi cederà.
E che lo farà all'improvviso, perché non saremo stati in grado di cogliere i segnali di stanchezza, i piccoli inciampi, le insicurezze, le espressioni di fatica sul volto.
Perché non avremo trovato il coraggio di voltarci per incrociare i nostri sguardi, e non avremo mischiato le nostre traiettorie, e non ci saremo mai, per nessuna ragione, fermati un momento per prendere fiato e respirare.
Perché non avremo voluto tornare ad essere, semplicemente, umani"

3057 was running solo today on the 420 Job out of Millinocket, taking the first trip of loads South. Even though a plow extra ran the day before 3057 is still kicking up some snow from the plow as it rounds the curve near Perkins.
