I know, panning is not everybodys liking, but me I like it. I still have to improve in that technique.

Happy and wet from swimming in the river.
Female Labrador mix Merle knows Timmi since they have been about 10 weeks old. They grew up together and know each other so well, they have the best plays. I will show you guys pictures of the two together, too, it's about time.
Have a great weekend!

Getting wind of a very late running No 35 freight train about 9 hours late saw me at Andover to try and get a shot at one of the few locations I could think of with the correct lighting. When I arrived the sky was black and there seemed no chance of getting a sunny photo. However the train did a crew change and was further delayed and miraculously as I heard the approaching train the sky started to break up a bit. By the time the train was infront of me it was now full sunshine peeping through the clouds. Note it was blowing a gale too as the grass will attest to.

The foal was running around its mother, this Belgian horse. Belgian horses are a breed of draught horses, no longer used for working the field in Belgium. Well, some farmers do but then it is more as a kind of hobby. These horses belong to Hoeve Hangerijn, a farm where old and young can get into contact with farm animals.
I am happy to say that this photo was chosen as a group cover for the 'Point and Shoot' group!
