You are not going to believe your eyes when you see this piece in person! What a wonderful surprise this was when we pulled it out of our kiln. This very unique piece was created by my husband in the flame. So rich and luxurious... a complete attention grabber.
Rich ruby reds, magentas and purple/blues floating with a chunk of shimmering dichroic glass suspended between all of these glorious layers of transparent glass. This piece measures about 2 inches (5.1cm) in length and 1 inch (2.5cm) in width.
We put a "dress Jen" doll in the paper. This is what came back from Ruby Red frontwoman Rockin' Robin.
I have quite a few pieces of ruby glass dotted around in little collections. I just love the intensity of ruby glass and these three seem to glow all day as they live in front of the window
