I setup my Asterisk PBX to use monitor() to record calls. Then I wrote some perl code that generates an iTunes compatible RSS feed, embedding the recorded phone calls as media enclosures.
The result is an archive of my phone calls in iTunes updating automatically via RSS.

SuprGlu provides a free hosted service, where you can compile a web site made completely from the mixing of RSS content streams for external sites- blogs, social bookmark sites, photo sharing, anything that can generate an RSS feed.
We created a simple Glu site for this presentation:
It will archive the content and tags (if appropriate) and re-constitutes the mix of feeds into one new RSS feed.
You are on one hand at the mercy of third party-- but there is no chance of losing your content since it is not even hosted, just aggregated.
This is an exmaple of outward aggregation- bringing together different streams of content via RSS for public viewing.
