RSS Discovery, sailing/steam barque, 736 GRT, launched 1901, the last traditional 3-masted wooden ship built in the UK in specifically for Antartic research operations and used by Scott and Shackleton, at St. Katherine's Dock, London, March 1981. Scanned slide.
I think this is the first anti-human captcha I've run across... even with my glasses on I have no clue.
Built in Dundee and launched in 1901, the Discovery was designed and used for Captain Scott's first expedition to the Antarctic. (Not to be confused with his ill-fated second expedition.)
Space Shuttle is half exposed for launch on it's 2nd attempt to launch. A hydrogen leak was found during tanking 5 hours later.

The result of my Part III Individual Project: an Embedded RSS Reader. This widget can connect to an Ethernet network over DHCP; download the contents of an RSS feed; process it and display the top stories on its LCD screen.
