The Roxy Theatre in Lockport, Illinois is one of many theatres that bear the name. Each one is a small testament to the enduring power of the grand New York movie palace that popularized it.

Interestingly, the current use of this theatre (as of January of 2012) seems to be a nightclub. While that's not an uncommon new purpose for theatres, this one is unusual in that it tries to provide a safe place to socialize for people with mental illnesses from nearby treatment centers. Summer Roxy dress, made from a floral-print rib knit I got for cheap on ebay. I actually made this back in 2009 but forgot to photograph it until a few days ago. This dress is a real favorite and has gotten lots of wear for 2 summers. I think I may have to make more of these.

Roxy got her first ride on her Honda XR100. We road at Wildomar OHV park as it is closest to our house and we are not ready to add the expsense of going to a track. Plus Wildomar is located up in the Saddleback Mountains so its cooler than the desert right now too.

Inicialmente, yo queria que Roxy fuera pelirroja y el otro dia le compre una peluquilla.. y no se si me gusta.. =S

Me parece que es un poco corta y por eso la veo tan rara..

Es que con el pelo blanco esta mas rara, pero no me desagrada.. pero con el rojo,si, es mas humana, y mas como yo la queia, pero no se si me termina de gustar..

Le he puesto el mismo gorro que llevaba con la peluca blanca, ya subire fotos..

Y eso,si leeis esto y os apetece, decidme como la veis mejor, con el pelo rojo o con el blanco..

perdonad que la foto sea una caca y que yo no este muy comunicativa, pero ultimamente estoy teniendo una mala racha con las quecas.. =(
