Roxy (quase não) veste Heaven's Dolls
On November 12, 2012 Roxy Hudson came to live with John, Mhegs and Chopper. Roxy was probably less then 3 months old when she was found on a street corner in San Jose CA, just a tiny scrap of baby frightened Chihuahua weighing in at less than 1.5 pounds. Fortunately she was saved from euthanasia by the wonderful Marthina McClay of Our Pack INC, Pit Bull Rescue ( ourpack.org/ ) who posted her photo on Facebook in an urgent call for a Foster.....the rest is history.
1 year on Roxy is a lively & active big girl who weighs 3 pounds, with a whole lot of love in a tiny body. Thank you Marthina for all your time and effort in placing Roxy with us.
Roxy was a dog 'on display' in a glass showcase. She was just calmly sitting there, on a rug, watching people go by...Apparently Roxy's a very talented dog and has won a lot of doggie high-jumping contests.

Expect the unusual at the Roxy, "where movies are a religion!" The Roxy features second-run films and double bills at bargain prices. Tuesdays here are a real bargain -- two movies for $2.50. A regular double bill is $5.00.

"I'll give you some specific info on the history of what was founded as the Fox, became the Quadra and is not the Roxy Cinegog in Victoria.
"Founded in 1949 by Walkey (the druggist who owned the land) and Nixon (the projectionist who ran the cinema) as the Fox with 424 seats.
"Bought by Barney Simmons, who was Nat Taylor's nephew and Arthur Hiller's cousin, in 1966. He changed the name because he played porno there while it was still the Fox. He needed a name change when he got away from porno and chose the Quadra. ...
" I bought the theatre in 1986 and made a mistake. I called it the Roxy Cinegog. I should have reverted to its original name and called it the Fox Cinegog. I redid the seating and it is now around 324."

Nuestra querida ROXY nació en nuestro refugio. Su madre nos dejó cinco bonitos presentes y Roxy estaba entre ellos.
Es una gata que le gusta que la mimen, que pide caricias y juega mientras lame la mano en forma de agradecimiento.
Se lleva bien con otros gatos y es muy tranquila.
Todos sus hermanitos están ya en hogares con familias, pero ella sigue aquí, esperando su día.
Tiene una carita que da ganas de comérsela y sus manchitas de colores, elegidas al azar la hacen aún más hermosa.
Roxy no ha tenido suerte hasta ahora porque es ese tipo de gata que no gusta, pero sólo quien la conoce sabe verdaderamente lo que se pierde al no tenerla cerca. Roxy es una preciosa gata, por dentro y por fuera.
