Happy Sunday!

Just returned from an exhilarating trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Met up with some wonderful Flickr friends and had a grand ole time each day.

Flickr friends can often provide some great ideas for "vacation hot spots".....but meeting & shooting with them in person is the real bonus !!! There's nothin' like it !!!

This shot was taken at Coulter Bay Marina on Jackson Lake.

Looks like all the boats were removed for the Winter months ahead.....

It's always a treat to return to GTNP.....no matter what season.

More to come........

Thanks for stoppin' by for a Sunday visit........

Enjoy your new week ahead.

Forget days of summer.....

The Riverside / Phnom Penh

In the photo above, you're looking across The Tonle Sap River, facing away from the city. About a five minute walk from here, The Tonle Sap River merges with The Mekong River. This area of Phnom Penh is known as The Riverside, home of The Royal Palace, The National Museum, Wat Ounalom and dozens of cafes, bars, restaurants and hotels of varying price and quality.

There is a wide, paved pedestrian sidewalk running along the rivers, which makes it a popular hangout for foreigners and locals alike; out walking their dogs, bicycling, jogging, playing hacky-sack or just people-watching. Best to go after sunset, when it cools off.

If you're interested in a bird's-eye view of the city, here's a link to a photo I took from the Sky-bar on the 37th floor of Rosewood Hotel:

Maine fishing village. Early morning walk from Inn. Walked out to the pier where the rowboats and skiffs were docked.

A lot of people go through life like they are rowing a boat. They look at where they have been ,The PAST, rather than where they are going

We pass this place every time we go to our cabin or my parents in Sweden, but I only discovered the boat last fall. Unfortunately, because of the unusual amounts of snow and ice this winter it has started to break up, but I'll continue to visit it through the seasons.
