"Routinely every Sunday afternoon
(weather permitting) Veezey gets
her weekly bath....and usually she
relaxes and thoroughly enjoys her
sweet self. Obviously this time she
did not like me & my camera invad-
ing her privacy! tee hee REO was
having to hold her down 'cause he
thought she was definitely thinkin'
about jumpin' & runnin'!"

Hardly anything stops the daily routine...certainly not a little snow. A small part of what I love about Poland and the people who live here :)
Join me on Facebook as well!
Men and woman walk the city doing their daily routines, with the streets crowded of stores in what in early and late hours seemed to be just houses.
Daisy loves being brushed - part of her daily routine before breakfast. But, of course, she didn't want to wait for her food while I took photos! This is about the 10th attempt, with a biscuit hidden in my hand. Purple, & for 113 Pictures #50 "feline"
This was taken ages ago, but the brushing routine hasn’t changed - happy Caturday!

Her morning was filled with daily routines - feeding the dog, an early morning walk, and her favorite morning routine, sitting at her desk enjoying a cup of tea and writing in her Morning Pages journal.
C'é una banalità rassicurante nei gesti ripetitivi di ogni giorno. Sono le routines o i rituali che ci inventiamo a salvarci dalla contumacia di questi tempi di Sars-Cov-2 !
Withering away with routine. Day in and day out: repeat repeat; easily overthrown as the cycle continues. Then you're gone.
Bonkers on the bed in his favorite spot, as usual. Bonkers uses routine to help keep his stress to a minimum, and sitting on the bed between the pillows is most definitely part of that routine.

台灣藍鵲 Formosan Magpie ... It's a routine of blue Magpies to come here for a bath in a sunny afternoon. So is a routine of mine to take a few shots everytime I pass by the park.
I love my Sunday routines.
In the morning I go to the bakery and buy a fresh bun for breakfast. One half I eat with Nutella, the other half with strawberry jam and I drink a cappuccino.
Crazy fact: I eat my soft-boiled egg with mustard instead of salt. My dad always did this and someday I tried it too and now I can't eat my egg without mustard :)
In the afternoon I go to sauna during the winter season. It's very relaxing and also very healthy :)
I wish I could take a picture inside the sauna, maybe a close up of the skin with all the sweat. But unfortunately it's too hot inside for the camera and also it's a public sauna, so there are other people who could be shocked if I would take pictures there, haha. So all you get is a crappy cell phone mirror picture from the locker room in the comments.

Here is a shot of 4 periwinkles going about their "daily routine." A mundane existence, maybe, but crawling, attaching, eating, crawling, attaching, eating, repeat... must be rather exciting when that's what you live for!
Also, part of MY daily routine, is walking the beach. I love to look for the smaller, lesser noticed subject matter. Sure, the beautiful landscapes of the coast; sea, sky, clouds and water can be breathtaking and different every hour of the day, but there is an absolutely infinite and fascinating world in the sand and tide pools when you look closely.

Slice of Life Project - theme - exploring composition and creativity while focusing on rituals/routines. We try to get outside for a walk everyday....this is one of our favourite parks that is in our neighbourhood. It was a very dreary overcast day but still so beautiful!
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!!! Have fun!!!
We've had our chickens a year now, and I'm still amazed that I can walk out in the yard and gather eggs. I feel the same about veggies in the garden. I didn't grow up with this, but I am growing into it. Now, I want a goat.
Harassment of raptors by smaller birds is so common that they must get used to it. Can you imagine a bird buzzing you every third or fourth time you stepped out your front door. I think that's kind of like it must be. Of course, we humans would have a weapon to retaliate, but the poor raptors can only dodge and weave. No wonder many are missing flight feathers.
Here, we have a red-winged blackbird harassing a red-tailed hawk at Cherry Creek State Park, Colorado, over the meadow below the main office.
Pixel-peepers, don't fret about the low quality, since this is about 200-yds away and I just wanted to document the activity and this will never be printed 36x36".
