We send New Year's cards called nengajo on New Year's Days in Japan.
We often draw the design of 干支(ETO)on nengajo.
ETO is Zodiac which was imported from Ancient China.
There are 12 animals,Each year has a symbolic animal.
The cycle is completed every twelfth year.
The order is : rat, bull, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, boar.
This is the year of the horse.
My Day starts with one cat and five Snakes, I feed the cat he wakes me up by jumping all over me to get up and feed him. Then
change the waters in the Vivariums and then feed myself I now can look at my Flickr before going to my voluntary job at the foodbank in Oldham "My Daily Routine"

I joined the winter warrior challenge #winterwarriornh run or walk every day in January for 1 mile or more outside. It is part of my daily routine (week 4 2019 P52) now. So even on this soggy rainy day (52 in 2019 #6) I got to go out. I always feel good after though. The challenge is just that push I needed. Thinking about keeping it up beyond January, making it a true routine....

Every once in a while, the routine trains should be documented, as much as it pains me to write. I can pretty much guarantee that in twenty years, this photo will not bring much nostalgia for the good old days. But at least it was documented.
I took this months ago, but could have taken it just this morning. There are days when I really miss the everyday-something-new, adventurous me that travelled the world studying art, but when I pause to appreciate it, I can easily recognize the grace and beauty in the comfortable routine that my life has become.
