For the Cycle Beads swap.
I used red glass drops, rosequartz, hematite and onyx... and a couple of other beads.
What exactly they are and how to use is here and no - I've not tested them yet, I've only just made them. But I like the idea and you actually get to create something really nice as well as you can use it as a bracelet:
I meant to try this kind of wrapping for a while now. These were supposed to be all silver kind of rock n' roll mini hoops. But then I looked at them and thought.. hmmm.. this isn't me at all.. so I wrapped them together, added a couple of lovely rose quartz briolettes and "tada"! This is what came out.
I like them because they're right in the middle between cute& girly and rough& cool:)
I have no idea what to charge for them though.. any thoughts on that?

Mom & dad tried to get together again with that friend that can never leave work on time to go the movies. Instead, they saw there was a medieval market in town and decided to go visit all the stands.
All was going as usual (mom looking at everything, dad wanting to go home) until they came upon a stand that was selling all kinds of stones, glasses, and minerals. Mom kept on walking until she heard dad call out "Wait! This is neat!".
Those are the words mom always fears. She thought she was safe from them here. After all, this was medieval market, not a MediaMarkt!!

No, I don't believe in magical crystals, but I do believe in mindfulness. These stones -- gifts to me years ago -- in my pocket remind me of what I strive for, with varied success: clarity (the clear crystal) and an open heart (the rose quartz.)
The green ring belonged to a friend's grandmother, and has become something of a trademark for me; the silver ring is, I believe, Tlingit -- Bear, with its tongue out, to either catch good spirits or frighten off bad ones, I forget which.
The silver bracelet was my friend Judd's.
Pale pink fancy cut rose quartz of unusual clarity are wrapped in 14K gold-filled textured wire. The stones are faceted in a wide arrowhead or pentagon shape (~7x8mm).
This is an 20" high almost gem quality Rose Quartz stone, from Renfrew County Ontario, that marks the grave of a loved one.
