Dogwood flower earrings. I reworked my red poppy design using natural pink chalcedony heart briolettes, rose quartz, red garnet and black onyx. The dangles graduate from black at the bottom to a very pale pink just beneath the flowers. These are really long: about 14,5cm in total (5 3/4")

This beautiful bracelet features five perfect large rose quartz oval beads separated by Bali style sterling silver beads. I really love how they play off each other, the smooth rose quartz and the bumpy Bali beads. The rose quartz here is really smooth and feels so good and cool against the skin. The bracelet closes with a Bali style sterling silver toggle clasp.

A selection of the gemstone heart jewellery I made for Valentine's Day.
From left to right are "Siren Heart" [Sold] which uses a lovely blue-green fluorite heart bead, "Misty Valentine" that uses a rose quartz heart crowned with mist blue chalcedony, and "Heart Spirit"[Sold] using a dark amethyst heart.
I have been looking at ways to make a break with the usual style I use when I photograph my jewellery for posting on eBay. This is my first attempt at playing around with a "real world" display rather than the photomanipulations I used previously that I felt were best suited to more dramatic pieces.
I am not convinced by the over-prominent weave in the fabric I used as the background but I'm happy with it as a first approximation. Comment/criticism/suggestions are welcomed.

This pair of earrings is part of the Vulcan's Forge set, my entry for week 31 2007. Both feature intricate wire-work and hammered frames.

Subtly beautiful pair of earrings. Made these with a pair of gorgeous faceted rose quartz heart-shaped briolettes, hand-wired in 14kt gold-filled wired.
Rose quartz, nevade lapis, sterling silver, and a small wirework. I made this set for a charity auction in 2003.

Happy rests on a soapstone box containing several stones: black tourmaline, rutilated quartz, blue agate and a rough piece of rose quartz. Beneath it all is a book of photography and poetry (Joyful to Hear) written by yours truly!

I used red glass drops, rosequartz, hematite and onyx... and a couple of other beads.
What exactly they are and how to use is here and no - I've not tested them yet, I've only just made them. But I like the idea and you actually get to create something really nice as well as you can use it as a bracelet:
I meant to try this kind of wrapping for a while now. These were supposed to be all silver kind of rock n' roll mini hoops. But then I looked at them and thought.. hmmm.. this isn't me at all.. so I wrapped them together, added a couple of lovely rose quartz briolettes and "tada"! This is what came out.
I like them because they're right in the middle between cute& girly and rough& cool:)
I have no idea what to charge for them though.. any thoughts on that?
