Had a fabulous time this morning at Bartley Heath nature reserve. Roe deer are not an uncommon sight, but they are usually shy. I spotted a doe with her offspring from last year and after some time they got very comfortable around me, they even curiously walked towards me. I watched them for nearly an hour, feeding from bushes and grooming each other. Very beautiful sight.

Somewhat amazed this afternoon when this Roe Deer casually walks right up to me on my shooting stick, sniffs me and carries on feeding close by. Next to no cropping on these images
Yesterday I made a walk around 6:00 in the forest and surrounding fields in Limburg, The Netherlands. On top of a hill behind the forest there is an apple orchard and it really is full of roe deer there, I counted 10 but also lost count ;). A lot of roe-buck and only a few fawn. What also struck me is that the bucks were much less shy, but still not easy to approach.....
