I replaced the conventional guest bed with a Murphy bed. Takes up less space and looks great too.
The walls were an ugly floral wall paper that I painted cocoa brown. With rebate, paint was only about $17 per gallon.
This was originally scheduled to depart for storage downstairs in the basement but we deemed it too heavy and cumbersome to try. Instead, it is making great storage space.
Now why didn't I think of that months ago?
