Full views of the 'turning basin" in Newport Harbor. The rooftop deck is plumbed for jacuzzi connections, bbq ready and detailed with wood paneling and whistler grey hardscape.
Oh, this view brings back lovely memories of Ida and Gilberto's flat in Central Havana and the rooftop view. There was something about the atmosphere that's hard to describe, it was very old fashioned, nostalgic and so "un-21st century", with the old cars in the street below and the crumbling old buildings.....dream on!
That's not something that happens every day! Looking out the window to find someone mowing the roof of the building next door!
I forget the name of this initiative but this is one of many buildings in Rotterdam with a green roof. It's pretty cool actually, good for the planet and such. It also looks nicer from our window!
Made the photo B&W because the colors of the trees and buildings was way too overhwhelming and the mower was completely lost.
I love this. This is my kind of Paris. Slowly walking on the roof of Lafayette, knowing the stress of the shoppers beneath my feet, enjoying this view.
