Just before the icicles fell to the ground, each one tinkling softly as it hit the pavement below, before the snow slipped off the sloping rooftops like icing melting off a cake on a warm birthday.
Yep, those are the Toronto Islands from the rooftop of our condo. Will be nicer in summer when its warm and the trees are all green - the islands look a bit dead right now.
