Snow accumulation for December 2008... This is on my little Doll House out back...No joke, where I store my garden supplies is like a little Doll House... It has 2 windows, a dutch door and a concrete floor... It really is nice...
A view over some of Greenock's rooftops taking in the Oak Mall shopping Centre and the Clydeport cranes at the docks on the Firth of Clyde.

Volterra (Italian pronunciation: [volˈtɛrra]; Latin: Volaterrae) is a walled mountaintop town in the Tuscany region of Italy. Its history dates from before the 8th century BC and it has substantial structures from the Etruscan, Roman, and Medieval periods
The town was a Bronze Age settlement of the Proto-Villanovan culture. It became an important Etruscan centre as one of the "twelve cities" of the Etruscan League.
It was allied to Rome at the end of the 3rd century BC and became a municipium. The wealthy Caecina family lived here and Gaius Caecina Largus and the eminent Aulus Caecina Severus (consul 2–1 BC) built the theatre and probably other monuments. Other important families here were the Persii and the Laelii. Aulus Caecina was appointed propraetor of Moesia by 4 AD and later in charge of several legions on the lower Rhine after 14 AD where he led them ably, routing the army of Arminius who had destroyed three Roman legions. He was eulogised by the chroniclers for his exploits and on his return to Rome he was awarded triumph honours.
What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the rooftops.
The Hague Central station has a glass rooftop every panel has four hatches to improve ventilation. On this day just one was opened.
Blessings from the rain. About a dozen Cedar Waxwings dropped onto a rooftop near my apt to drink rainwater from the gutters.

The best view of Tokyo is from above. Look at how many observation decks there are! But we wanted to do something less conventional. We are always looking for images no one else has shot (like thats possible). So this was shot form a rooftop. Were we allowed up there? Probably not, but in the world of danger in Japan, this was probably the lest risky. The first rung on the danger ladder you could say, so we felt comfy with this. Until we got yelled at. Ops. That's ok, we had the images we came for. This was one of them. Let me know what you think.

A low-res, flatbed scan of a 6x7 (2 1/4 x 2 3/4 inch) transparency
This is a group of images of San Francisco's North Beach area and elsewhere. They are taken from the top levels of 2 adjacent parking garages I park at regularly. Sometimes, I am happier with the images from where I parked than the ones eked out of the San Francisco streets below. But, that's photography.
I didn't want to upload-bomb everyone again, so I put them together. Maybe I should make the others public to enable larger views, given their detail-rich nature. I know: let's take a vote. Haha.
Thanks for having a look!
Posting this on the eve of the big game of the Chiefs vs. Titans. Our second year in a row we have the AFC Championship game at home.
This image comes from a shopping district in KC known as the Country Club Plaza. They display holiday lights each year. The red tower really stands out to me on this one along with the wonderful layers of the last remaining light.
Hopefully I can report that the Chiefs will make it to the Superbowl.
