Walking from Edinburgh castle into town, the view of the roof tops,intrigued me. Very reminiscent of a scene from Mary Poppins!

Well it looked that way seeing the Jackdaw up on a neighbour's
rooftop , he was as bad as a cat scratching away up there . Good job it was not windy up there stood on one leg - could have easily got blown off !!

The rooftops of Ambleside
A six photo pan put together in PScc, was Taken with a Nikon D700 mounted on a tripod. I have taken this view many times and yet with the changing light and time of year every photo is unique.

This photo shows some of the different but beautiful architectural styles in Bruges. It gets me every time! Surely not my last visit there. The huge church is the "Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Brugge"
Well it's late afternoon in Sydney town on Sunday 21st April, 2024.
And the 'Scenic Eclipse II' cruise ship is departing the harbour, aided by a tugboat from Sydney's 'Port Authority'.
Meanwhile a ferry has arrived at the McMahons Point Wharf, on its trek from Darling Harbour to the city via Luna Park.
And across the harbour at Millers Point the sun is shining on the Victorian-era terraces.
And all viewed from my rooftop location along View Street (near the top of Walker Street) at North Sydney. Not far from Lavender Bay.
