Poklonnaya Gora, Moscow.

Wanted new skates (rather than secondhand) because I want to be the one to break in a pair of skates that I intend to do a lot of sweating in. After an internet search to look at competitive prices, I went on a hunt in the local sporting good stores.

This pair was fine, and actually reasonably priced, but they only had one and it was too small.

Tonight we held a member mixer at the local rollerskating rink. I didn't get to skate due to my "condition", but I sure had a lot of fun watching everyone shake their groove thing out there!

moore fun if i knew how to skate.

I made this top with some fabric that i rescued from a certain death in landfill.

I'm not really sure why by it made me think of the title "Roller Skating Peacock".

The fabrics are both cotton/lycra blends, and are ultra soft and have a really nice drape to them.

The sleeves are 3/4 length, it's a size 12-14 (Australia), 32"-36" bust (v. stretchy)

Available in my DaWanda store. Please see my profile for more information :-)
