I made this top with some fabric that i rescued from a certain death in landfill.
I'm not really sure why by it made me think of the title "Roller Skating Peacock".
The fabrics are both cotton/lycra blends, and are ultra soft and have a really nice drape to them.
The sleeves are 3/4 length, it's a size 12-14 (Australia), 32"-36" bust (v. stretchy)

Mixing women, roller skates and "male culture".
The rollerskate was hand carved out of a layered yellow cake. The six was carved out of a yellow sheet cake. I decorated the skate with chocolate buttercream icing and the details were made with fondant,

Tonight we held a member mixer at the local rollerskating rink. I didn't get to skate due to my "condition", but I sure had a lot of fun watching everyone shake their groove thing out there!
