Take Aim Closet challenge - my daughter's. Apparently she didn't want to take them to her apartment.

Danville has some wonderful community parks and it is great to see the community use them. A middle aged man does laps on his rollerblades.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: What I loved about the My Big Sister sets Kid Kore made back in the early 2000s, was that they reminded me an awful lot of Colleen and my Ann and Andy paper dolls. Colleen and I spent hours making Raggedy Ann and Andy dozens of outfits that they could wear for any occasion--from grocery shopping to being cowboys! Kid Kore themed their My Big Sister sets similarly. It seemed like Kelsey and Jodi had a set of outfits for every occasion, which drove Colleen and me wild. Whether their outfits were for working out (like this one), ballet, cowgirl, beach, rollerblading, pajamas, or were just outfits with crazy prints, Kid Kore never failed to surprise us with super cool clothes! I remember Colleen and I made Kelsey and Jodi do yoga (or some other exercise) just so we had an excuse to play with these clothes. When I grew bored of Kelsey dolls, I remember trying to cram this outfit on Sparkling Jasmine, but I am pretty sure it didn't come close to fitting (which was a shame since it is such a cute outfit). I'm really glad that Colleen and I managed to hang onto this set--I'm pretty sure it was one of our early ones in our Kid Kore collection.

This fellow is a bit of staple on Edmonton's Whyte Ave. I did a little Googling and he seems to be a bit of a mystery man. I've seen him around for a few years. He is always beaming. And shirtless. And very tanned. Pretty fit too, cause you would have to be.

DOLLS IN LINE: Barbie; Christie; Ken; Kira; Teresa

MISSING ITEMS:Shorts, elbow pads, knee pads, roller blades

PERSONAL FUN FACT written by my sister: Seeing this makes me feel like a kid again for several reasons. For one thing, I had a McDonald's figurine of Rollerblade Barbie when I was very young. For another thing, I've always been attracted to this particular green. For instance, Rose, our 1992 Fun-to-Dress Barbie, came with a pair of shorts in a similar color. I stretched them out making Ken dolls wear them as swim trunks. I would have loved mating this top with those shorts. A whole neon green outfit. It would look great on Hollywood Hair Ken. I tried wearing this color myself once--a pair of bike shorts this color paired with a pink tshirt with a pineapple decal. Mom told me never to wear it again. I think if she saw Ken wearing this, she'd tell him the same thing.
