Life is like learning to skate, one hour you fall and you raise another you just slide but keep walking forward
I usually don't stage my shots (actually I pretty much never do it). But a couple of days ago, all I could think of was "I wish I could go rollerblading again!" I started imagining a shot like this; but it was already dark. So I did it today.
P.S. For those who don't know me, a couple of months ago I hurt my foot and it's still not doing that well...
My presentation went well yesterday. I only have one more report to finish and that's it.

Barbie rollerblade from my childhood that is able to make sparks with the back wheel.
The rollerblade is 5 cm in length.
These two rollerbladers were enjoying the morning solitude and soaking up the final days of summer. At Kensington Metropark, Milford, Michigan.
All cleaned up and a new favourite! This is actually my second Kira doll that I've thrifted from the same store. The other one is Sparkle Beach Kira, but I'm not sure what I'll be doing with her just yet.
I need to get better at posting my thrift finds after I clean them up... OOPS!

With today being the first beautiful summery day of the year, Torontonians couldn't stick with the pandemic stay-in-place order. There are more walkers, gardeners, and cyclists. This fellow was patiently instructing his girlfriend in the art of rollerblading, wisely emphasizing how to put on the brakes.
