Life is like learning to skate, one hour you fall and you raise another you just slide but keep walking forward
To feel the sound of the rain inside the soul, blindfold eyes. What your ears will hear will be the sound of the storm inside your head.
Outside it's just rain, the rest it's just your imagination!
::: Hello Love - Benson Boone:::...
Hello love I missed your face
But I fear you feel a different way
When You look at me with those empty eyes
I could pass away I could bleed and die
All this time I never knew
If you were leaving me or I was leaving you
Now I’m caught between the black and blue
And you’ve tied me up and I’m forced to choose
Oh I’m lost
I don’t know where I’ve gone
Won’t you hold me while this storm is in my head
I’m alone and I can barely catch my breath
Woo
Hello love don’t you fade away
Just a little less go and a little more stay
I could try to blame you but my mind ain’t safe
Like two fireworks tied to a rollerblade
I’m still lost
But I’m still holding on
Won’t you hold me while this storm is in my head
Don’t you go away
Don’t let it die in vain
I’d give anything to feel it all again!

Even though temperatures were approaching 100°F, some were out enjoying the trail around Tempe Town Lake, Tempe, Arizona, USA. Also know as the Rio Salado Pathway.
I usually don't stage my shots (actually I pretty much never do it). But a couple of days ago, all I could think of was "I wish I could go rollerblading again!" I started imagining a shot like this; but it was already dark. So I did it today.
P.S. For those who don't know me, a couple of months ago I hurt my foot and it's still not doing that well...

My presentation went well yesterday. I only have one more report to finish and that's it.
Armin made me a website as a present for the last day of school:
Hope you all have a great summer.

Barbie rollerblade from my childhood that is able to make sparks with the back wheel.
The rollerblade is 5 cm in length.
------english------
trains also roll on rollerblades.
Something unique for us fans but nothing special for them, in fact
Railadventure (a company based in Munich that operates in the German and Polish railway network) constantly deals with the transfer of damaged locomotives and vehicles or, as in this case, of rolling stock having a different gauge than the one where it is traveling.
we can note with pleasure that in the fourth position of the train we see a means for the maintenance of the tracks built by ROBEL BAHNBAUMASCHINEN of Freilassing (DE) destined for Chiba, a city southeast of Tokyo.
Location he will reach by ship once railadventure delivers the grinder to the gigantic port of Hamburg.
A means that will be responsible for grinding and polishing the cracks formed on the surface of the track, through a photo with more zoom on the aforementioned machinery it can be seen that under the front forepart there are two yellow devices containing a disc wheel.
But the thing that strikes us most are those skids that lift the vehicle, strictly necessary to ensure that rail transport is feasible since in Japan the gauge is 1067mm and that in Europe is equal to 1435mm.
We can define them as temporary adapters with the inevitable consequence of severe limitations on the maximum speed of the train, here limited to 50km / h for the entire journey.
We see the old glory of the Deutsche Bahn engaged, a BR139, purchased and re-filmed by Railadventure with their social livery.

All cleaned up and a new favourite! This is actually my second Kira doll that I've thrifted from the same store. The other one is Sparkle Beach Kira, but I'm not sure what I'll be doing with her just yet.
I need to get better at posting my thrift finds after I clean them up... OOPS!

-- I thought twice about adding this next to its neighbor in my chronological Photostream because they are so different in scale and tone, but they do have something in common: knees!

With today being the first beautiful summery day of the year, Torontonians couldn't stick with the pandemic stay-in-place order. There are more walkers, gardeners, and cyclists. This fellow was patiently instructing his girlfriend in the art of rollerblading, wisely emphasizing how to put on the brakes.
